About Lasting Remembrance

Lasting Remembrance began with a simple idea: to create something meaningful people could hold onto when words weren’t enough.

What started as a small Etsy shop has grown into something much more personal. Over time, we realized these weren’t just blankets — they were becoming part of people’s grieving process. Customers shared stories unprompted: a father lost months earlier, a mother struggling quietly, a family searching for a way to feel close again. Many came back not just immediately after a loss, but months — even years — later, when grief resurfaced and comfort was still needed.

Those moments stayed with us.

I’m Emily, and together with my husband Jacob, we run Lasting Remembrance as a family business. After creating hundreds of personalized items and seeing how deeply they were cherished, we decided to open our own online storefront- a place dedicated entirely to thoughtful remembrance gifts made with care, intention, and respect for the people receiving them.

Jacob and I also understand loss personally. His father passed away in recent years, and through that experience, we saw firsthand how the right gift — something warm, tangible, and personal — can offer quiet comfort long after the initial wave of sympathy fades. That understanding shapes how we approach every order.

Every blanket's personalization is reviewed by me personally. If a photo needs adjusting, I take care of it. If wording needs refinement, I help. We know these gifts often mark deeply emotional moments, and we treat them with the attention they deserve.

Our goal is simple: to help you give something lasting — something that can be reached for again and again, whether in moments of sadness, remembrance, or quiet reflection.

Thank you for trusting us with something so meaningful.
